The DD RIS II Picatinny quad rail handguard is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in type 3 hard coat anodizing. The receiver group is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. The M16 bolt carrier group is MP tested, chrome lined, and featured a properly staked gas key. Engineered for suppressed fire, the DD GRIP-N-RIP charging handle redirects gases away from the user’s face. The charging handle is also ambidextrous for left and right-handed use. The Daniel Defense rubber overmolded grip is a nice touch and pairs well with their rubber rail-panel covers and overmolded stock, both of which are included.
